Here’s a brief description of the webinar from the USPTO website:
“The USPTO’s Inventor Info Chat webinar series continues in June when we host our discussion on “Trademark Basics. Once it enters the marketplace, every invention will be sold to consumers under one or more trademarks.  This webinar will cover everything you need to know in order to select and protect great trademarks.  It will cover the different types of trademarks available to U.S. companies as well as the benefits of selecting strong marks. It will also discuss the overall system for trademark protection in the United States and explain the importance of doing a complete clearance search. Finally, the presentation will conclude by highlighting some of the outstanding trademark resources available on the USPTO website.”
